Charcuterie and cheese box

The box can include a variety of cured meats such as prosciutto, salami and chorizo, sliced thinly and arranged attractively. A selection of cheeses is a key component of a charcuterie and cheese box. Common choices will include a mix of Spanish cheeses, such as Manchego, Mahon and of course very well known French camembert.

To accompany those flavours, I will add a selection of fruit, crunchy nuts for extra texture, various olives, and pickles. Sweet spread like jam/honey, to complement the flavours of the meats and cheeses.

Mini baguette, crackers, or breadsticks serve as a base for the meats and cheeses. Topped with fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme to add colour and aroma to the board.

The beauty of a charcuterie and cheese box lies in its versatility. It’s a perfect option for entertaining guests or enjoying a relaxed meal at the boat, at the beach or in the comfort of your own home.
